WRITING RUBRIC

This is the writing rubric that will be used to score the  written paragraph portion of the exam.  Please review the rubric to ensure that you have a strong understanding of the expectations for the written portion.

Comprehensibility 
Grammar and spelling errors render writing too difficult to decipher.

Vocabulary
Inadequate/incorrect use of vocabulary.  Highly repetitive.  Use of English.

Emerging use of subject/ verb agreement, adjective/article/noun agreement, verb tenses and conjugations.  Correct application ½ time.

Please note:  Use of online/computer-aide translation for anything other than single words and constructed idiomatic expressions is expressly prohibited for all assessments, and classwork and participatory activities.  Doing so constitutes cheating.  All work found to be in violation will be given a score of 0%.
